Product, Shipping, and Return Policy

ASSORTMENT COLORS

Fulfillment of assorted color orders is based on current inventory availability and factory discretion. While we will make every effort to accommodate an equal color split, this is not guaranteed unless specifically requested at the time of order via the order notes or by contacting Customer Service.

Order Accuracy & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing all proofs, order confirmations, shipping addresses, artwork layouts, spelling, grammar, phone numbers, and product selections prior to approval. Approval of artwork or placement into production constitutes acceptance of all details associated with the order.

Color & Product Variation

Due to differences in monitor calibration, printing processes, manufacturing lots, and material surfaces, actual product colors, imprint colors, and product finishes may vary slightly from digital proofs or prior orders. Such variations are considered acceptable within normal industry tolerances.

Industry Tolerance Clause

Each order is prepared and manufactured with care to ensure your order is as ordered, designed, and/or approved on the proof. Due to the custom manufacturing process, slight variations in imprint placement, print size, color consistency, or production quantities may occur and shall be considered acceptable performance within industry standards. Order quantities are closely monitored, but in select cases, orders may ship within ±5% of the quantity ordered and may be billed accordingly. If you feel your order was short, please contact customer service via our refund policy.

Artwork Ownership & Rights

By submitting artwork, logos, trademarks, or other content, the customer represents and warrants that they possess all necessary rights and permissions for reproduction. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 4PENS.com from any claims arising from unauthorized use of submitted materials.

4PENS.com reserves the right to refuse any order containing offensive, unlawful, infringing, or inappropriate content.

4PENS 4KIDS

The 4PENS 4KIDS initiative reflects 4PENS’ ongoing commitment to supporting education and community development through charitable giving programs benefiting schools and educational organizations.

Participation in or purchases from 4PENS do not create a contractual obligation or guaranteed donation ratio. References to “4PENS 4KIDS” and related marketing materials are intended to describe the company’s charitable initiative generally and are not intended to represent that any specific quantity, percentage, or value of products purchased will directly correspond to any specific quantity or value of donated products.

All donations made through the 4PENS 4KIDS initiative are determined solely at the discretion of 4PENS and may vary based on company profitability, operational considerations, inventory availability, program objectives, and other business factors.


4PENS reserves the exclusive right to determine:
  • the timing of donations,
  • the quantity and type of products donated,
  • the recipient schools, organizations, or programs,
  • whether donations consist of pencils, writing instruments, educational materials, promotional products, monetary assistance, discounted products, or other charitable support.

Donation totals and program activities may not directly correspond to individual purchases or order quantities.

Donations may be provided at no cost, reduced cost, or through sponsored partnerships as determined by 4PENS.

While 4PENS intends to support educational institutions, civic organizations, and school-related programs annually, all charitable activities remain voluntary and subject to change, suspension, or modification without notice.

SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY

Curious About Your Delivery Time?
Each product on our site comes with a listed production time in the ‘more information tab’, indicating the number of business days it takes to print your item once your artwork is approved. As for delivery, it's in your hands. Simply choose your preferred shipping method during checkout – whether it's ground, 2-day, or next-day shipment, we've got options to suit your needs. Need your order even faster than our production time? No problem! Get in touch with us, and we'll gladly rise to the challenge and rush your order. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Production Time + Transit Time = Arrival at your destination

Production Time: The approximate length of time to produce your order. This approximation starts after proof approval on orders requiring proof. Find the standard production time in the product page, under More Information > STANDARD PRODUCTION TIME.

Transit Time: The approximate length of time it will take from the time we ship your order until the time you receive the merchandise (barring any extraordinary events beyond our control). If a specific in-hand date is required, you should consider an expedited shipping method (which you will be required to pay for).

Approximate Transit Times

  • Ground: 1-6 business days to arrive at your destination.
  • 2nd Day Air: 2 business days to arrive at your destination.
  • 3-Day Select: 3 business days to arrive at your destination.
  • Next Day Air: 1 business day to arrive at your destination.

In Hands Date and Production Expectations

Estimated production and delivery dates are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing. 4PENS.com is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, labor shortages, supply chain interruptions, customs delays, acts of God, or delays resulting from customer approval or response times.

If your order is needed in hand for a specific date (or sooner than the total production and transit time combined), you will be required to select and pay for expedited shipping. 4Pens.com will not be liable for delays or errors caused by UPS / FedEx / or USPS that are beyond our control.

Force Majeure

4PENS.com shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, material shortages, transportation disruptions, governmental actions, pandemics, cyber incidents, or carrier delays.

Free Shipping

All Pen orders above $199 will be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS Free of Charge, with the actual method at the discretion of 4Pens.com unless specific provisions are made in advance of shipment. If you use a PO Box, we will get in contact with you until a new shipping delivery address is given. This may cause delays in your order. Free shipping does not apply to Alaska, Puerto Rico or Hawaii; it only applies to USA locations in the 47 states.

4PENS.com reserves the right to ship orders in partial or multiple shipments when necessary to expedite delivery or accommodate inventory availability.

Please contact our customer service before ordering, so we can work with you to mitigate or reduce shipping fees.

Please Note

UPS and FedEx do not ship to PO Boxes, so actual street addresses will be required. If there are multiple apartments or suites at the destination location, please be sure to indicate this in your shipping instructions.

One Shipping Location Per Order

On orders processed through our website, each order is outlined to be shipped to one singular location. 4PENS.com reserves the right to ship as effectively and as efficiently as possible. Thus, it follows that FREE Shipping applies only to pen orders to/for one location, regardless of order size.

Multiple Shipping Locations

HANDLING FEE(s) will apply to any request to separate or ship an order to multiple locations. The HANDLING FEE of $15 per location plus shipping costs will need to be paid prior to order production. Please contact Customer Service if you need your shipment shipped to multiple addresses per order. It is suggested to alert our Order Management team of this desire in the Other Comments section of your order. 4PENS.com prides itself on Customer Service and will work with each customer to accommodate their needs.

International Shipping

Currently, we do not ship to International locations or non-USA locations (including the Virgin Islands).

Refund Policy

  • We will do all we can to make sure you are pleased with the product you have ordered and received; however, due to the fact that the product has been personalized to your specifications, our Refund Policy is limited.
  • No refund will be granted if there were typographical errors submitted by you.
    Defective products should be reported within 60 days from the shipment date to our customer service team to allow us to work to first replace the product or process a full or partial refund based on the scope and prevalence of the defect. Pictures and explanations will be requested.
  • Proofs will be provided on all orders over $250 *. Please double and triple-check spelling, font selections, product and color selections, addresses, phone numbers, etc. No returns will be accepted due to the color of the product selected, imprint color, style, or font chosen by you.
  • When you order from 4PENS.com, several teams work on your order to ensure your satisfaction. Sometimes, we may need your clarification or approval. If we can't reach you, we will cancel your order and process a refund. This applies to orders that are still in the pre-production stage. If you have not requested a proof or your order qualifies for a proof, your order will progress directly into production.
  • Orders cancelled, for any reason, after artwork preparation, proof creation, or production commencement may be subject to cancellation fees, setup charges, artwork charges, or production costs already incurred.
  • If an error was made by 4Pens.com, we will refund or replace 100% of your order. If, however, the error was made by you, we will do our best to work with you to try to find a solution to the problem.
  • All concerns regarding an order must be submitted within 60 days of the shipment date for consideration. After the stipulated time, no action can be taken regarding a delivered order. Shipping damage shall be reported within 15 days of shipment, so that we might help you to work with the carrier to resolve any issues.

* Proofs: If, on your order, you request proof prior to production, we will provide one at no charge. Virtual proofs are otherwise provided for orders greater than $250, orders deemed to have questionable artwork, or where the requested layout might be problematic, at our discretion.

Approval of artwork and placement into production constitutes authorization to manufacture customized goods which are non-resalable. Chargebacks initiated for approved custom merchandise may be disputed with proof of approval and production documentation.
